CORRUPTION : A REASON FOR INDIA'S BACKWARDNESS

Everybody knew what is corruption .It is a holy word for the ministers who loves it by heart and preach it as their god. Actually the word corruption is a self sufficient word which only brings sorrow to the persons to whom it is applied. Corruption can be treated as one of the reasons for which the INDIA is lacking behind from others. Any person of any age can study the subject of corruption and and get flying colors in the degree of MC(Masters of Corruptions) . However it is not an easy task to be corrupted because we are Indians and Indians are known for their sincerity and hence are placed in best companies including MicroSoft, Apple, Google, etc. Today Indians are spread all over the world but the unfortunate of India is that the talented Indians are leaving the country . I think ,I'd gone to the different topic let's come to the original topic of Corruption .
The holy priest of temple of corruption are the big leaders, who appoint the talented person like them to teach them the meaning and usefulness of corruption . The roots of corruption are not like a tree that starts from the bottom but they are started from the top most level i.e. from Senior to Junior .
If the students are taught about the discipline , importance of sincerity and evils that caused the country to feel same on itself.
The word corruption will be eradicated from the society.

ROLE OF MEDIA IN AWAKING YOUTH

ROLE OF MEDIA IN AWAKING  YOUTH

Media is an inseparable part of life for most of the teenagers. There are different types of mass media that are inherently a part of the routine life of teenagers – for example television, computer, mobile phone or a music player. Considering the current influence of media, we need to agree on the fact that media plays an important role in shaping up opinions of teenagers. Media is a double-edged sword and hence there are positive effects of media as well as negative influences of media. Positive Media Effects on Teenagers
One of the most positive effects of media today is the ease with which teenagers have learned to embrace technology – be it the computers, Internet or the ipods. The teenagers have no phobia for technology. Media has also contributed to increase the overall awareness of teenagers about their surroundings. In addition to this, media has also resulted in enhanced overall knowledge and understanding of curriculum subjects owing to the vast information resources that the media has to offer. If managed properly, media can be effectively used to generate awareness amongst teenagers about issues like sex, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, drugs, alcohol and smoking. Negative Media Effects on Teenagers
There are several negative media effects on teenagers as well. Media is responsible for creating ideals about body image, owing to which several teenagers (especially girls) suffer from inferiority complex and resort to unhealthy practices to lose weight and get skinny. The amount of excessive violence in media – be it the television, movies or the video games, tends to increase aggressive tendencies in teenagers.

NO PAIN NO GAIN

NO PAIN NO GAIN

It’s completely true that you can’t accomplish anything without going through some sort of pain. That’s why I agree with the statement, “No pain, no gain.” One example of this is getting your body into shape – it is painful, but you gain something out of it in the end. Another example is Nelson Mandela, who, even after many years in prison, re-emerged stronger than ever to fight against racism.
I’m sure that everyone wants to be fit. Unfortunately, it doesn’t just come with the snap of a finger. You have to work out regularly and improve your stamina. If you are quite unfit at the beginning, it will take a lot of pain on your part to improve your physical fitness – if running the extra few meters will make you fit, go for it! Also, if you’re inflexible for your age and you want to be more flexible, the best way to do that is to stretch. Yes, it might hurt at first and yes, it’s painful, but you will be able to do a lot more sports and improve your physical fitness by being flexible. You might be asking: What’s the gain? The gain is that sports make you happier throughout the day, improving your look, inside and out, helping you concentrate better, making you sleep longer as well as drastically improving your health, reducing the risk of getting diseases such as cancer, and making you live longer. Wow, that’s a lot of gain! That’s why pain is worth it – for imagine if you never exercised at all, never ran that extra few metres, and never stretched? You would be overweight, moody, and at the risk of getting major diseases (among many other reasons). I’d much rather be the first group of things listed above rather than the second – wouldn’t you? That’s why this is a good example of “No pain, no gain.”
Even though the things that happened to Nelson Mandela for most of his life were unfair, (namely being sent to jail for many years) he still fought on throughout the rest of his life. He didn’t give up, even though he was in jail for so many years – living on rations of food and wearing the jail outfit, he would get his friend to sometimes sneak in a copy of the local newspaper to him so he could find out what was going on in the world. In jail, he would be planning ideas for what he would do once he was released. Because he went through pain, it actually made him a more patient person. When he was released at last, he fought against racism and eventually became president of South Africa. Later on in life, he earned at least fifty awards – which is a great gain from the pain that he went through for most of his life in jail. If he hadn’t fought his way out of jail, he wouldn’t have become president of South Africa and definitely wouldn’t have won any awards. Even though most of his life was pain, the remainder of his life resulted in great gains that would make him famous forever. He might have been able to accomplish all of this without going to prison, but I actually think that it made him a better person.
In conclusion, nothing good can happen to a person without some pain. Some people might think that pain only happens to bad people, but in truth, it happens to every person who wants to make a difference in this world. That’s why you have to realize that nothing is going to hand itself to you – you have to work for it. And if that means going through some pain, it doesn’t matter, for if you work hard enough, you’ll definitely get some gain out of it.

CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS

CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS
Cleanliness may be next to godliness, but adhering too strenuously to the wisdom of the old saw might not be doing your child’s immune system any favors. Baffled
by the rising numbers of asthma and allergy-addled kids, some researchers are pointing the finger at too-clean home environments and overzealous parenting practices.

Generally referred to as the “Hygiene Hypothesis,” the theory that kids’ immune systems need to interact with harmless bacteria in order to develop properly has been around since the late eighties.

After finding that households with large families recorded fewer instances of atopic disorders (asthma and allergies) epidemiologist David Strachan of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine concluded that “unhygienic” sibling traffic may be good for a child’s immune system.

The theory posits that when forced to take a defensive position against infection, a child’s immune system receives essential early training on how to process irritants and may be less likely to overreact to allergens like dust, animal dander and pollen later on. Taking his findings further, Dr. Strachan theorized that smaller family sizes and consequently higher standards of cleanliness in the modern household might hinder this necessary training.

As a consequence of the work of Dr. Strachan and others, some now believe that early exposure to innocuous bacteria boosts immune system tolerance and reduces the risk of a child developing allergies.

“Children’s exposures early in life may influence which way their immune system develops, although not necessarily a ‘healthy immune system’. Cleaner environments appear to foster the development of allergies, as opposed to children in ‘dirtier’ environments. A child’s genetic background has an influence on this as well. Homes with pets, or living on farms with close contact to farm animals appears to decrease the development of allergies. It appears that the immune system requires exposure to bacteria in order to develop properly. Exposure to cleaning agents and other strong fumes, or to dust, may cause irritation of the respiratory system, but doesn’t appear to adversely affect the immune system directly,” says Dr. Paul V. Williams, allergist/immunologist at the Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Dr. Williams is quick to point out, however, that kids who suffer from allergies do not have “bad” immune systems.

“It is a common misconception that people with allergies have a ‘weak immune system’ and they need to do something to ‘strengthen’ their immune system. In fact, their immune system is quite healthy, it just responds in a different fashion to common environmental exposures that ordinarily would not induce any response at all in those with a non-allergenic disposition. Children with allergies are not more prone to infections or more severe infections on the basis of an altered immune system.”

Many in the scientific community emphasize that the hygiene hypothesis is only theory. In fact, researchers are engaged in looking at a variety of factors, including diet and environmental pollution, to explain the increased numbers of asthma and allergy cases. Moreover, others see the idea as an oversimplification, claiming that while exposure appears to be a significant factor in building a better working immune system, determining what is an appropriate level of cleanliness is problematic.
